Starting Monday, August 17, CyRide's detour around Lake Laverne will change due to changing traffic and construction patterns. This detour is expected to last until construction is complete, which is currently estimated to be in early October. 

The following stops will be closed: 

• 2110 for Lake Laverne Station
• 2101 for Morrill Road and Memorial Union (6 Brown only)
• 2100 for Morrill Road and Union Drive (6 Brown only)
• 2261 for Memorial Union
• 2241 for Parks Library East (23 Orange only)
• 2252 for Beardshear Hall (23 Orange only)
• 2271 for Wallace Road at the East Parking Deck (23 Orange only)
• 2281 for Wallace Road and Forker Hall (23 Orange only)
• 2211 for Beach Road and Forker Hall (23 Orange only)
• 2201 for Beach Road and Linden Hall (23 Orange only)

During this detour, for passengers wanting to get to Forker, Lied Recreation Center, the Union, and RCA (Richardson Court Association), please consider taking the 3 Blue bus to get you near these areas.

The 6 Brown South will go west on Osborn Drive, south on Bissell Road, southeast on Union Drive, south on Welch Road using temporary stop 2041 for Lower Friley, continue south on Welch Avenue, east on Chamberlain Street, and south on Lynn Avenue where it will resume normal route. 

The 6 Brown North will go north on Lynn Avenue, west on Lincoln Way, north on Welch Road using temporary stop 2040 for Lake Laverne West, northwest on Union Drive, north on Bissell Road, and east on Osborn Drive where it will resume normal route. 

The 9 Plum will go west on Osborn Drive, south on Bissell Road, southeast on Union Drive, south on Welch Road using temporary stop 2041 for Lower Friley, east on Lincoln Way using temporary stop 2030 for Kingland Systems, temporary stop 2020 for Lincoln Way and Lynn Avenue, and will continue east on Lincoln Way where it will resume normal route.

The 21 Cardinal will go southwest on Wallace Road, west on Union Drive, south on Morrill Road using temporary stop 2101 for Morrill Road and Memorial Union, west on Lincoln Way using temporary stop 2021 for Lincoln Way and Lynn Avenue, north on Welch Road using temporary stop 2040 for Lake Laverne West, northwest on Union Drive, north on Bissell Road, east on Osborn Drive, and north on Wallace Road where it will resume normal route.

The 23 Orange will go north on Beach Road, north on Wallace Road, west on Osborn Drive, south on Bissell Road, southeast on Union Drive, south on Welch Road using temporary stop 2041 for Lower Friley, east on Lincoln Way using temporary stop 2030 for Kingland Systems, temporary stop 2020 for Lincoln Way and Lynn Avenue, temporary stop 2010 for Buchanan Hall, south on Beach Avenue with a temporary stop near Sunset Drive, and will then resume normal route.
