At the start of service on Monday, June 29, the 6 Brown will detour due to road construction in the area of Bloomington Road and Stange Road. This detour is expected to last until the construction is complete. Please be aware that minibuses will likely be used on this route during the detour so watch for the smaller buses when using the route. 

The following stops will be closed: 

• 4100 for Stange Road and Aspen Road northbound
• 4090 for Stange Road and Yorkshire Road northbound
• 4091 for Stange Road and Yorkshire Road southbound
• 4080 for Stange Road and Bloomington Road northbound
• 4081 for Stange Road and Bloomington Road southbound
• 4070 for Bloomington Road and Hyde Avenue eastbound 
• 4071 for Bloomington Road and Hyde Avenue westbound
• 4060 for Bloomington Road and Eisenhower Avenue eastbound
• 4061 for Bloomington Road and Eisenhower Avenue westbound
• 4050 for Bloomington Road and Fletcher Boulevard eastbound
• 4051 for Bloomington Road and Fletcher Boulevard westbound

Instead, the 6 Brown North will go north on Stange Road, west on Aspen Road, south on George Washington Carver Avenue, east on 24th Street with temporary stops at 24th Street and Prairie View West, 24th Street and Northcrest Drive, and 24th Street and Hayes Avenue, north on Hoover Avenue, and east on Bloomington Road where it will resume normal route. 

The 6 Brown South will go west on Bloomington Road, south on Hoover Avenue with a temporary stop south of the intersection of Bloomington Road and Hoover Avenue, west on 24th Street with temporary stops at 24th Street and Hoover Avenue, 24th Street and Hayes Avenue, 24th Street and Northcrest Drive, and 24th Street and Kent Avenue, north on George Washington Carver Avenue, east on Aspen Road, south on Stange Road where it will resume normal route. 

On the weekends, the 6 Brown South will go through Schilletter Village. For Saturday service, a shuttle will be used through Schilletter Village to help manage the timetable.
