How it Works
To use the tables, check which schedule is being used on the day you would like to travel. We recommend that you e-mail us, call 292-1100, or use the online reservation forms below to let us know when you will be riding so that the driver can be watching for you.

Cost
$12 per person per trip (including ISU students)
$6 per trip for Medicare cardholders, elderly, persons with a disability, and
K-12 Ames students
Please note: Only cash and
personal checks accepted as payment.

Other Arrangements
On days or times that a shuttle does not run, taxicab service is available at the Des Moines International Airport 24 hours/day, 7-days/ week. No pre-scheduling necessary to take taxicabs. Taxicabs are located just outside the main baggage claim door of the airport. During afternoon and evening hours a cab steward is on-duty on the curb to assist you to your cab. The taxicab fare to Ames is US $80-100. Taxicabs can accommodate up to 4 students. Des Moines taxicabs accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard & American Express as acceptable forms of payment.
