About

Perfect job for students or semi-retired persons

15 to 35 hours per week available

Job Requirements

Good driving record (no more than two accidents or moving violations the last three years)

Must live in or near Ames (please call CyRide or the City of Ames Human Resources department for the exact boundaries)

Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Must be at least 18 years old

Starting wage $12.17 per hour (after training)

Drivers - $8.00 per hour during initial training period

$14.83 after 3120 hours

$16.04 after 8320 hours

Benefits

Paid vacation and sick leave available for employees working more than 20 hours with quantity of vacation/sick hours earned/month based on 1/2 time, 3/4 time or full time status.

Sick leave is available after 6 months continuous employment.

Written Tests for Drivers on:
Monday, March 1st: 10:30am & 7:00pm (CyRide office)
