Transit Drivers and Laneworkers
About
- Perfect job for students or semi-retired persons
- 15 to 35 hours per week available
Job Requirements
- Good driving record (no more than two accidents
or moving violations
the last three years) - Must live in or near Ames (please call CyRide or the City of Ames Human Resources department for the exact boundaries)
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years old
Starting wage $12.17 per hour (after training)
- Drivers - $8.00 per hour during initial training period
- $14.83 after 3120 hours
- $16.04 after 8320 hours
Benefits
- Two weeks paid vacation per year
- 12 days paid sick leave per year
